Tonight’s performance is fabulous. It is an evening of great voices, great music and fun acting. The whole cast seems to be in an ultimate high resulting in an exceptional performance. You must not miss this successful musical. The costumes are colorful, the music original and the performers are at their best.

Riverview High is a musical comedy about boy meets girl. The problem is the boy (Erik Gow) meets two girls (Alex Gullason and Ranae Miller). To further complicate things he has asked both to the prom. This musical also presents us with the insecurities that most teenagers face and how they finally work them out.

Three gals dressed as pink rabbits are a delight. Stephanie Davis has comedy talent that is rare and a voice to match. In the song "16 Carat Girl," Davis had the audience in an uproar of laughter. Caleb Di Pomponio with his dark rimmed glasses does an excellent portrayal of Dexter, an insecure geek.

The evening flew by quickly, a sign of an exciting and entertaining performance. Alex Gullason, as Cathy has a great voice and range. It is difficult to choose one act over another since they were all executed with perfection.

With our outstanding warm weather in Vancouver this is definitely the musical to take in on a warm summer evening. I must thank the entire production for a night of theatre at its best. It was absolutely enjoyable.
