Munsch Upon A Time

Dates and Venue 12-15 August, 2015 at 11am | Crescent Beach, Surrey

Reviewer Ed Farolan

There is a mini-replica of Bard on the Beach on Crescent Beach in Surrey that has tents and shows in the summer: Beach House Theatre. This under the tent theatre has been in existence since Summer 2012, and it presents Children's Theatre in the mornings, and Theatre for adults in the evenings.

This year it has Munsch Upon A Time, a dramatized adaptation by Debbie Patterson of the stories of Robert Munsch: David's Father, The Fire Station, Give Me Back My Dad, It's My Room, and Paperbag Princess. Directed by Courtney Shields and performed by Aaron Holt (Professor Pim), Matt Falletta (Fullerton) and Claire Pollock (Patsy), the show was received quite well by kids from 5-7 who attended the preview show on August 11th.

This is a must-see show for residents in the South Surrey area. Buy your tickets before they sell out. Opening night has sold out.

The adult theatre show, The Importance of Being Earnest, has completely sold out.
