A fairytale comedy. A feel good film. A bit of sci'fi.That´s what this movie is all about. Jack Malik (Himesh Patel) is a struggling songwriter...but after a mysterious blackout, he discovers he is the only person on earth who remembers The Beatles!

It's an entertaining film with a lot of fiction involved, including John Lennon who appears as a 78-year old. Fiction indeed because everyone knows Lennon was murdered when he was in his late thirties, or perhaps early forties. The saving grace of the movie are the Beatles' hit songs, and a lot of them, "Hey Jude", "Yesterday", "Strawberry Fields", "Help", to name a few.

At the end of his alst concert, Jack confesses that these aren't his songs. I expected that. Through the course of the movie, I was just waiting when this would happen.
