Date and Venue Thursday April 21, 2016 at 12 noon | Scotiabank Dance Centre, 677 Davie St Reviewer Ed Farolan It was an exhilarating 50-minute show, with a humorous magician/narrator introducing each segment. I liked the flare and the colourful costumes, and I could see that Pitkethly did a great job training her dancers. .The singer and the guitarist were also superb as they accompanied the dancers do their steps. This company is different from the other Flamenco companies in Vancouver where the Flamenco tradition is more prevalent. The humour injected in this fusion of flamenco and the classics makes this troupe unique from the rest. © 2016 Ed Farolan |
